Bundles of Kindling
Bundles of Kindling is a short novel written as an expansion to “Kindling,” a free-verse poem included in Finding Home Again. The story centers on 29-year-old Hadley, an ambitious young woman who’s finally settled down with the man of her dreams. Until she comes home one day to her bags packed and her soon-to-be husband admitting to months of infidelities and a desire to “find himself.” Relying on the support of her best friends and her childhood bedroom, she begins her own healing journey in a new life haunted by ghosts of her past.

Finding Home Again is a free-verse, contemporary poetry collection that explores devastating betrayal, grief, and a woman’s healing journey as she navigates a new life haunted by heartbreak. The poems are reminders to readers that healing isn’t about forgetting, and instead, is about finding and learning to love yourself again.
